Who we are

This website is operated by Ghirongi Global Trade Ltd ("we", "us"), a company registered in England and Wales under company number 17426626, whose registered office is at 2nd Floor, 16 Nicholas Street, Manchester, M1 4EJ, United Kingdom. Atomistry is a brand owned by the company.

We are the data controller for the personal data described here, for the purposes of the UK GDPR, the Data Protection Act 2018 and, where it applies to our processing of data about people in the European Union, Regulation (EU) 2016/679.

What this website collects

This is a static information website. It has no shop, no account area, no advertising and no analytics or tracking software. It loads no third-party fonts, videos, maps or widgets. The only personal data it collects is what you choose to send us.

Cookies and similar technologies

We set no cookies and use no analytics, advertising or tracking technologies. Because nothing beyond what is strictly necessary is stored on or read from your device, no consent banner is shown.

The enquiry form

If you use the contact form we collect your name, email address, and the company, country, enquiry type and message you provide. Submissions are processed and stored by our hosting provider, Netlify, Inc., acting as our processor, and are forwarded to us by email.

If you email or telephone us

We hold your contact details and the content of your message or a note of the call.

Server logs

Our hosting provider keeps standard technical logs of requests to the site, which may include IP address, time, page requested and basic browser information. These are generated by the hosting infrastructure for security and reliability, are not used by us to identify or profile visitors, and are retained under the provider's own retention periods.

Why we process it, and on what basis

• Answering your enquiry — our legitimate interests in responding to people who contact our business, or, where your message concerns a possible contract, taking steps at your request before entering into one.
• Product safety, complaints and traceability — our legitimate interests, and compliance with our legal obligations in relation to food safety record keeping.
• Site security and availability — our legitimate interests in keeping the website working and protecting it from misuse.

Who we share it with

We do not sell personal data and we do not share it for marketing. We share it only with the service providers that make our business function — our hosting and email providers — and with regulators, professional advisers or law enforcement where we are legally required to do so.

International transfers

Our hosting and email providers may process data outside the United Kingdom and the European Economic Area. Where that happens, transfers are made under adequacy regulations, standard contractual clauses, the UK International Data Transfer Addendum, or another lawful transfer mechanism. Our director is located outside the United Kingdom and the EEA and may access enquiry emails from there; we rely on appropriate safeguards for that access.

How long we keep it

Enquiry correspondence is kept for as long as needed to deal with the matter and then for up to two years. Records connected to product safety, traceability or a complaint about a product are kept for five years. Server logs are kept for the period set by our hosting provider.

Your rights

You may ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you; to correct it; to erase it; to restrict how we use it; to object to processing carried out on the basis of legitimate interests; and, in some circumstances, to receive it in a portable format. Email help.atomistry@gmail.com and we will respond within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your personal data you may complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk, or, if you are in the European Union, to your national supervisory authority. We would appreciate the chance to put things right first.
